STAGE ONE - Marketing of the property & securing the correct tenant
This is the first stage of all new tenancies. At
opendoor we feel that it is highly
important to secure the best tenant possible for the individual properties and you
as landlord. We use wide marketing techniques and careful tenant selection to ensure
a happy and successful tenancy.
This stage includes us carrying out the following:
Free Valuation and Market
Appraisal service
We offer a free, no obligation valuation service. We shall make
arrangements to meet you at the property and provide a current rental valuation
for the accommodation and discuss the current lettings market, highlighting the
likely tenants that we believe would be suitable for the property.
Advertising
We offer a free advertising service, providing wide coverage in the target market
area including weekly local press advertising, contemporary website advertising and
in-house listing available throughout the whole of the Telford area within our
associated offices. We also proactively contact prospective tenants looking for
similar types of accommodation using our detailed database system.
Viewings
Viewings will be arranged for prospective tenants to see the property, accompanied
at all time
by an experienced member of staff.
Thorough Vetting of Prospective Tenants
We operate a thorough and detailed application process, carrying out detailed credit reference
checks on all prospective tenants, along with previous landlord checks, work reference
checks, bank reference checks and any other referencing procedure which we feel
may be appropriate, including securing a guarantor if necessary.
